Let’s All Go To The Movies

Summer is here and there’s no better time of year to head to the movies. I love going to the movies, there’s no better way to escape the summer heat, treat yourself to some popcorn and sit back and relax with the whole family.

This summer it looks like there’s plenty of great movie-going options available, no matter what you’re looking for.

Comedy

Bad Moms (July 29, 2016) – A true ladies night out comedy, this film follows three over worked and unappreciated moms when they ditch their responsibilities and go wild.

Ghostbusters (July 15, 2016) – An all female reboot of the 1984 cult classic of the same name. Will this flick live up to its predecessor? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Family-Friendly

The BFG (July 1, 2016) – Little girl befriends a Big Friendly Giant who is an outcast among other giants because he refuses to eat little boys and girls.

The Secret Life Of Pets (July 8, 2016) – This family-friendly animated comedy from the creators of Despicable Me offers a look at the lives pets lead after their owners go to work.

Horror

The Purge: Election Year (July 1, 2016) – The third installment in The Purge social science horror franchise, this film is sure to make your heart rate quicken.

Action

Tarzan (July 1, 2016) – Directed by David Yates and starring Alexander Skarsgard and Samuel L. Jackson, this film follows Tarzan as he returns to his jungle origins after having adapted to life in London.

Star Trek: Beyond (July 22, 2016) – The third installment in the Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto Star Trek reboot. This is a must see for Star Trek fans new and old.
